Might be worth asking the anglers in the club fishing the stillwater how they go about the ban. Bet they know all the answers. Maybe replace the weight with moulded plasticine ?

Dave Hall and Dave Gauntlett are still members of our Fishing club and both active on our Facebook pages, though both are not in the best of health. Dave Hall and his wife Carol manage a Fishery for our club and everyone loves them. Yes and really liked Paul Boote's posts, and
the Hamster...
This is 1/2 a mile below the STW. Our club controlled a section a couple of hundred yards downstream of here. The Floating pennywort goes bank to bank most of the year. After removal it quickly becomes blocked and unfishable again within months. I made the difficult decision as club Conservation...
This is a local section of the river Colne in West London (please look at the link) its basically turned into an open sewer this Winter. I have seem plenty of sewage sludge over the years but its never been this bad. I have Riverfly tested just below this filth for 4 years but have decided not...
Had a look at this and was tempted at that price to compare it to my other titan 2000's,1000's and microlite 2000's but then realised its missing its top 5 inches and top eye, but not mentioned on the advert . Hope the person who bought it realised...
Shakespere Superteam LXL 12FT-16FT float rod, A two butt section rod so it can be fished at 12 or 16ft. Great for playing and landing big Chub on very light lines and small hooks fishing at distance.
Torrix 11ft 1.75lb, think this rod has the highest mentions on this thread a fantastic rod ideal...
Failing any repair keep an eye out on Facebook market place and Ebay for the same chair second hand . Buy it use it and when the cover falls apart change it for the cover on this chair.
Rather than link ledger I fish a fixed paternoster but some of this will apply. Chub are the cutest fish for feeling resistance and dropping the bait. Especially if they are big and have been caught a few times over the Winter. For Barbel I believe its not so important once they pick up a bait...
Exactly as I thought so I messaged him and reserved it, will be collecting next week. Just all the Hassle of collecting , getting new feet and trying to get longer legs etc.
Think I might have found a second hand one, trouble is its 50 miles away, with no rubber feet. Its the frame continuing behind the back legs that make it so easy to carry over your head, hanging on your shoulder. Its just so sad Chub dropped such a good idea, obviously chair designers these...
Trouble is I have really bad Arthritis in both my thumb joints so cannot grip with my thumbs. A rod in one hand, landing net in the other are fine but any extra weight and I get like electric shocks through my hands.
Went out to my car this morning to find some Scrote had got in and stolen my 20 + year old chub chair, I kept in my boot. What upsets me is it was ideal for roving, you could put it over your head and have both hands free. Like Triggers Broom it was on its third cover since original and had...
