As the title says looking for a boilie or base mix that catches Barbel but is not the usual red fishmeal....
I know that barbel like a bit of fishmeal but is anyone having some success with anything a little bit different?

Thank you for your thoughts David, yes you would need a thickish fluoro otherwise it defeats the object, i have tried the coated braids but they are to light thin and limp to do a proper job..

Just a quickie any of you guys getting your bait needs from Quality Baits? I used them donkeys years ago just wondered how their quality was now? A company that has had a bad reputation over the years but they sell most things at a good price.

It looks like the Sufix Stealthskin is no longer available seems to be sheathskin or Camfusion.
Those sufix coated braids are quite a bit cheaper than Korda or Fox for example.
