I've got one of these too.....best car I've ever had. 12 years of very happy motoring.
Looking to change though as really looking for something with a much better fuel consumption (off to Scotland in May 😱)
Budget around 10k so hopefully should find something roomy, robust and comfortable to...
Thinking of a change to my fishing next season and was looking to find a venue to catch barbel on the float in the summer/autumn.
Looking for a cheap ticket with good parking where the barbel wil respond to float tactics. Never fished the Trent but seems ideal given the head of fish.

Why would someone go to all that trouble to discredit him? Business reasons perhaps.
That said, it's bloody childish.......it's only fishing for gods sake 🤷
I took a punt on these, delivered yesterday.
They look very good, lovely and light.
Will be testing grip and warmth in the coming months 😁
Thanks for the reccomendation 👍
Steve
Hi Richard,
First impressions.......heavier that I thought they would be but my rods spend 99.9% in the rests anyway 😁
Slightly bigger than i'm used to but spool size is good so bought them to use for the tench as well.
I'll put some line on at the weekend and I'll be trying them out 🤞
Cheers,
Steve
What's the grip like on the Navitas Paul?
I've had a pair of Rovex for a few seasons which have been great but the grip is poor so looking for something new
Steve
Hi Richard,
Would you consider the 5000 model similar in size to a 4000 size reel. Looking for something to pair on my 11 footers.
Thinking the bigger spool size would help with spring tenching too....
Cheers,
Steve

I'm sure the skippers will tell you everyday is good but just wanted to hear anyone's thoughts.
Thanks.
