Landing nets

Another vote for the Tacklebox 36” Darenth Nets. So good I bought another. So much room. Had a 36lb carp in one when Tench fishing last week , a lovely deep net , a good extra is the machined spreader blocks you can get as spares too
 
Cheers all. Think I’ll get a 32 and a 36 from tackle box. I assume I’ll be able to use the same spreader block and I’ll take the bigger net to venues with bigger fish. I’ve had doubles ok whilst chub fishing with a 30 inch net, but not ideal for resting fish in.

I recon a net with 34 inch arms, would be the right size to cover most barbel fishing, but very little options out there in that size. Korum do one, but my experience of using there products isn’t great!

I've just bought a 42" net for my Carp fishing set up. I was looking at it in the house after it had arrived, when my missus coldly said, "What do you need that for" ??

Another vote here for the Dinsmore net. Had one for years and it's been fine.
 
Had 2 korum triangle nets fail at the spreader, but did like the latex mesh on them, so took latex mesh off it and fitted it onto a Tackle Box 32” net, which has a much more solid spreader block and arms. Works well for me and wraps up small too. Tackle box net shown on left. Korum on right.

Lots of carp company’s seem to have stopped producing 36 inch triangular nets. So not getting very far looking down that route. I have seen tackle box do a 32 inch net in the darent valley range

Anyone used these?

Any other recommendations?

Hey everyone not been on for a bit. Hope everyone is well!!
I have to say I absolutely love my frank whitlock salmon net. I believe they are very far and few between nowadays as they were discontinued quite a few years back. I bought it through barbel fishing worlds very own @Clive Shipman about 13years ago. I would definitely recommend one. That's if you can get your hands on one!
The net is extremely deep and perfect for our whiskered friends to recover after a nice scrap.
I do need a new net in mine now.
The head flips over and the handle is telescopic! It has a bungee cord on that pops off when the net is flipped over. Also you can carry it on your back via the bungee cord.By far the best landing net I have owned. I take it barbel fishing when I'm static or roving.

Digressing slightly but par for the course on B.F.W.Due to the rivers being so low at the moment have found that my normal landing net handle was hardly reaching the water from some pegs on high banks.After rectifying a problem with my net (see post River Nidd) popped into the tackle shop today to buy a few bits and bobs and a longer landing net handle.Explained what I needed and was shown a 4mtr landing net handle.Just the job I thought untill being told the price.£98 pounds...£98pounds!!!!.
Was then shown one similar for £28,guess which one I bought.Stay safe all.

I had the 30" folding Korum loved it sadly lost it in the tidal and replaced it with the 30" solid version and its superb I have a bag for it and it goes in my seat no bother
 
I didn’t like the whychwood folding net ,I ended up with 2 middy kodex 36 nets on a good deal for 2, metal spreader block and solid arms

I found the mesh on the 32
not quite deep enough so using it for tench now.
Superb nets for the money though 👍

My Drennan 36” coupled with a Drennan specialist landing net handle hasn’t let me down . All folds down and can be wrapped around the handle for easy carrying when mobile . The nets also very deep for resting fish. 🌞🎣👍

I use the same combination and agree they complement each other nicely as you would expect. I managed to put a 7lb chub in mine on Wednesday and it looked great then ! 😀

You can’t get them drennan specialist triangles anymore.
They were good nets. Could of just been a tad deeper for my liking
