Think my mate had one when we were teenagers. Remember him striking a bite and the metal tube snapped just above ferrule. Undeterred, he stuck the broken section into the female ferrule and fished on. Bit of 'slap' in the fit but he just carried on using it until he got another rod... two years...
Only part way through it. Wierd hardly comes close. So many parts of it are off the scale bonkers that no one would have written it... So it's probably true...
Some clever soles are now bivvied up in the local park which is an SSSI with a closed season. They must regard themselves as doubly special. Police are patrolling the park so they will hopefully be disabused of the notion that they don't need to stay at home or are exempt from compliance with...

Have had some experience of crays in France at Boux. Some good advice in the posts above. We used fox shrink but it ran out pretty quickly so we went to tights, double wrapping, blobbing with a lighter to seal the ragged ends. Plastic baits were fairly untroubled so we used them too.

On a stinking hot day in the mid 1980s at Sywell Res my mate decided to put an anchored crust out to try to temp one of the surface cruising tench.
He wandered 25 yards up the bank where there were a few fish showing and flicked out a bait before returning to our tench peg for a rod rest. By...
Either cast the leads in a cheap mould from Ebay for bigger leads like Jon above or in one cut into the surface of a wood block (56g & 84g) or simply a strip of roofing lead. Buy a pack of plastic hair rollers (10 in a pack for £1, the ones with velcro type fasteners but take off the velcro)...
I had one v similar to the NGT model for times when I would have extra stuff and couldn't get on with it. Found it hard to load effectively with a bag (a box would have been OK) and it wasn't very stable. Bought a second hand daiwa barrow last year like the one Jason mentioned and it's been OK...
Unused extension system to make a Fox Brolly shelter bigger. Green shelter in a camo carry bag with pegs and groundsheet. £125. Tricky to post so would prefer to meet in N or Central Bham or Westminster/Euston area London.
Thanks Graham. Most of my perch fishing with live baits has been on small ponds with small baits rather than more demanding situations. And from your previous posts I can confidently say you've had more success with stripes than I have!
Everyone's opinion on rods is different but I think they might be a bit harsh for light lining. I have some 0.75lb Rods I use for perch.
If you'd like a chat with the seller PM me your contact number and I'll ask him to give you a call.

Swapped to Technium Black in Jan 19 after reading countless line reviews and used it for both carp and barbel in 10, 12 and 15lb. First impressions were great. Have since binned the three unused spools I have and stripped it off all my reels. Found it to rapidly loose strength and have the...
Thanks Steve. Could you pm me your number? I've had an expression of interest from a member on here but if that doesn't pan out it'd be good to put them on Faceache for our mutual friend as he's not on that platform either.
