Homemade feeders

Hi there,

Following on from another thread...would anyone be prepared to share their designs for their homemade feeders, including the 'ingredients' list?

I use one of those feeder lead moulds, weights are 110, 150 and 170 grams. I use PVC drain pipe in either 40 or 30mm size. Cut to length with a drain pipe cutter. 40lb amnesia as a loop and bend lead over pipe... you could add a sleeve or swivel if required.

Same as Jon above, the only difference is a rubber O ring squeezed under the lead and then attach a link swivel. Simples!!!!

Either cast the leads in a cheap mould from Ebay for bigger leads like Jon above or in one cut into the surface of a wood block (56g & 84g) or simply a strip of roofing lead. Buy a pack of plastic hair rollers (10 in a pack for £1, the ones with velcro type fasteners but take off the velcro). Fold the lead over at either end and trap a loop of galvanised steel wire under one end and twist to make a smaller loop for a snap swivel to attach. It's quick and easy to assemble them and no trauma if you lose one.
