    WANTED - Gardner Scud Block

All, I'm after a Gardner Scud Block if anybody has one gathering dust. Thanks Vince

    Spopper wanted

What I liked about them is that he upgraded plastic bits to stainless and put a quality stainless swivel on it. I've not used it yet but it looks robust enough to me.

    Spopper wanted

Mine has just arrived (ordered on Monday) I was going to make one but for £15 (he'll take an offer) + £3.50 postage I couldn't be bothered. The smaller one can be cast with a barbel rod (he uses his 1.75lb) but the bigger (£18 one) needs a spod rod. Mine's red

    Roaming chair

I got a Nash Indulgance Lightweight chair last year It's light, comfortable and robust. Not cheap but I'm happy with the purchase.

    Dinsmore plastic bait droppers

I bought two last week and wasn't too impressed the door hinge. They'll not be used 'till March by which time the door will be wired to the housing.

    Aldi Fishing Gear

Just got back with a power bank (£29.99) and a pair of fingerless neoprene gloves (£4.99) first impressions are very good.

    Ruckbag replacement

It does look a nice piece of kit and I've just been thinking of ways to fix my chair to my ruck sack, but £80 (cheapest I've found) is IMO a little over priced, although Fox are far from the only tackle company guilty of over charging.

    Korum Barbel Rods?

Cheers Stephen, I've had a look at the 1.75 and the 2.0 in my local tackle shop and I have to say they look and feel very nice, far better than I expected at the very reasonable price. I think I'm sold on them. Gonna be a couple of weeks 'till they're needed but unless a better bargain falls...

    Korum Barbel Rods?

All, In desperation I've decided to go against my past habits and fish with 2 rods. I don't want to spend £400 on a pair of hand built pieces of art so am looking at the Korum Barbel rods (the £50 ones). They'll be used on the Swale, Tees & Ure mainly (small but fast flowing) so no extreme...

Thanks Richard (and all), that's what I was hoping to hear.

    Light Carp Rods For Barbel?

Guys, My Barbel fishing pretty much consists of fishing the Yorkshire rivers, staying mobile and using a single 1.75TC rod all very simple. Next month I'm off to the Trent for the first time, where as it's a bit of a social I'll be picking a spot and sticking to it and as everybody else does...

Clive, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate details of your conversion so we may do our own?

    New Chair

I asked the same question a little while ago. I settled on the Nash Indulgence Ultra Lite, I've been very pleased with it and find it tall enough for my own dodgy knees.

    Double rod sleeve

Greys Prodigy ready holdall does everything you've asked for.

    Light Weight Chair

Richard, It's actually my 15 year old original Korum that I'm replacing. It's still going strong and I've yet to find a bank that I can't us it on but at 7.5kg it's just too heavy for a long (sometimes up to 2 mile) walk across farmers fields to the river.

    Light Weight Chair

Thanks for the comments guys (and the welcome Dave). I've had a look at all of them and I think I'm going for the JRC Stealth X Light. Again, thanks

    Light Weight Chair

Hello, I'm after a light weight chair but I don't want a low to the ground one that I struggle to get up from (buggered knee from too much rugby). Also, it must have good mud feet on it. What are you guys using? Vince

    13 ft rod holdall

Depending on your budget Cotswold Aquarius do a couple of holdalls for 2 or 3 13ft rods. I've got a few bits of their luggage and it's really good quality although I'm still not sure it isn't over priced.
