Well Aarons latest outing last night produced a recapture of Saturday nights Barbel at 14lb 1oz ... a PB ! 😆 😆 😆 , and a 13lb 6oz just after dark, i think I've well and truly hooked him now, That's the only thing i've hooked so far, I'm still barbelless ! 😆

Well that’s not the end of it, he’s had another one 13.6 this time, tonight with him getting used to it I thought i’d get the chance to put a couple of rods out myself ! 🤔 cos this area lends itself to it, first one he had was whilst I was setting up, the second one i’d just managed to cast in...

Hope so Mark, he seems to have that spark of enthusiasm, my other grandson Harry has just started Barbel fishing too, only one session so far and he’s Still Barbelless 🤣 we’ll see if he has the enthusiasm of his cousin too !
