Hi Jason
AA baits wanted £5.50 for postage - the flavour was only £3! Have ordered cheese flavour from eBay and yes blue cheese powder from spotted fin.
Planning to make my own cheese boilies for chub this winter, with cheese & blue cheese powder added to the base mix!
Regards Wayne
Hi All
Apart from John Baker cheese flavour, can anyone recommend a cheese / blue flavour. Shame Richworth blue cheese flavour is not available anymore!
I've done a couple of searches, but only have found a couple of options. Third eye on eBay, dosage 5-9ml per kg so not very concentrated. Or...
Hi Daniel
What is it about the rod action you don't like??? I've not handled a FS hi s barbel rod, but I would love to put it on my wishlist. I read a few comments that people don't like the action, some prefer the speaker range, so interested in your thoughts
Regards Wayne
The TFG river and stream rod is not based on a free spirit blank, therefore not worth IMO more than £80 tops. I've compared the TFG river and stream rod against a free spirit specialist advanced rod 11 ft and 1.2lb which are rare as rocking horse shit and sell for £150 plus on eBay. And yes I've...
When I was looking for a new small rucksack for chub fishing I tried the Thinking anglers rucksack and the Drennan rucksack side by side. The Drennan is more comfortable but the Thinking Anglers is better design but smaller. I brought the Drennan 35lt but it doesn't have enough pockets and I...
Hi Steve
I have the 35lt Drennan rucksack, only been used about Six times for chub fishing last season, prefer a Chub Day sack, PM me if interested and we're agree a price. I live not far from you. Regards
Hi all
After doing some Google research I found out the difference between the Fox FX blanks (2 & 3k carbon) and the rod that replaced it - Fox Duo lite (1 & 2k carbon)
So can anyone tell me which type of carbon is better for rod blanks?
Also I found out you can get 6, 9, 12 & 24k carbon...
Hi Steve
Yes Fox Duo Light with the green blanks did come befor the FX rods, but Fox discontinued the FX Rods and replaced them with the Fox Duo with the same black carbon weave blanks.
I am trying to find out what the difference is between the Fox FX and the Fox Duo that replaced it, which was...
Hi All
Does anyone know what the difference is between Fox FX twin tip barbel rods with the white tips and the Later Version - Fox Duo Light twin tip barbel rods?
I believe it's the same blank just different cosmetics?
Regards Wayne
Hi Fished there a few times, are you staying at the Red Lion? They have a map with most swim's marked on it or ask for details of swim's. I preferd the area downstream of the washing machine swim's, deeper steady water, fishing one or two rods out. Regards Wayne
