Had 2 small schoolies from Avon beach on the weekend in muedford! Saw a lunker bust bait on the surface at first light!! So they are still here!!!

same here, I have only caught a few very very small bass on lures so far Im still waiting for that elusive fish over the 1lb mark! haha!

Shaun what areas of the coast do you target the bass? I mainly fish around dorset as I have family there, but I also have family in sussex so I could always head down there I just would not know where to start!

I had 3 small bass all on a mirror lure shallow XII in white and red on Friday at hengistbury head/mudeford! My first ever! All were very small but I was over the moon none the less, It would be good to know where the bigger fish hide though!?
