one thing to remember is it isnt just the barbel getting this prebait....chub bream and all other coarse fish will be in as quick as the mighty barbel.
where i fish it's the carp lads/lassie's that put the bait in like i used to.

fox MK2 swingers in...
what size line and hooks are you using for your float fishing and ledgering on all types of streams and rivers big and small.
ive seen videos of people using 10lb+ for barbel on small rivers
so what size line do i need for float fishing for barbel (when the season starts)

ive just got the greys x-flight barbel rod....looks nice ...just need to put a bend into it:)
plus ive ordered a free spirit 13ft 1lb 6oz.....im sure they will both do the job asked.
