I know it don't help but i just got some from a dealer for a friend @ £45. don't think i could ask again as he would know i was passing them on to others and screw my chances of a good deal later on.
But it does show that the price can move quite alot if you have the balls to bargain with them!!
Hi,
I use this one and it expands so you can use it for other types of fishing.

These are bullet proof and if i need to get some bait out then i attach the mother of home made feeders.....the feeder feeder:D
The 7oz feeder and its mother do get cast to the far bank when needed, never had a problem with rods exploding.........as yet that is:p:D:p
I already use them for my bait, when i open new bait i just stick it in one of those!
They are good for putting bait in the freezer to, i don't buy them though as work buys them 10000 at a time so i help me self:p:D:p
I agree with the second nature thing as when i switch back to bait runners i always tighten my clutch instead of disengaging the bait runner:rolleyes::rolleyes:
Now't complicated about the baby pits but the quick drag is a bit to quick when you are trying to balance the freespin against the flow, two clicks is to much and one click not enough so i fish them on full drag and hope the fish don't pull me rods in:D joke!!
Hi Wayne,
save yourself a few quid and buy Stevens rod, he lives not to far from Nottingham and i think he will move on the price a little.

I tend to have two main sets of rods and switch between the two depending on river levels, tides and the place i intend fishing.
The duo-lites are not what you would expect from a 2 3/4 tc rod, they have a very tippy action and feel great even with small fish but also have the power to launch...
I use my Duo-Lite Extremes in the summer too, great for getting you feeders over the rocks and bank side vegetation with out getting snagged.
like Chris said, depends on the situation as to when i use them!!
I do pretty much the same as above!!
I do find that continuous use quick drag does alter the middle drag so I keep checking it as it sometimes comes loose on mine, even with the little faults it is an amazing reel for the Trent and has bags of power, love em:D
I agree with Michael but i have gardner ATTs alarms which are fantastic especialy as i dropped them and they still worked.........BUT......break the receiver and you have no alarms as the alarm head has no sound!!
Get yourself a pet Mink, I have not seen a rat on the Trent since they have been running free but bugger me when they get hold of a hare behind you it scares the **** out of ya!!
