    Just wanted to share with you guys what proper customer service is, placed an order on Thursday by phone about 3 pm, arrived Friday morning minus one item. One phone call later it was sorted and sent out to me at work Saturday morning free of charge. Really great staff big thanks to them!

    Cheers guys! The split is where the top foot of the reel slides in, I might just try glueing it then, as I said it's only a spare rod, think I'd rather put the money towards a new rod! Thanks alot though helped alot.Ben Just out of interest bob what would it cost to do?

    Hello chaps I've got a fox duo xs and the reel seat has cracked, nice rod but a real cheap nasty reel seat.Does anyone know roughly what it costs to replace it with something better? Just trying to weigh up if it worth it or to just buy another rod it's only a spare really but still a nice rod...

    Yeah I never use the tare function on the rapalas,I know my sling weighs 12oz so just deduct that from my fish! I've replaced the battery seems to have solved my problem, might get a set of the avons aswell though!

    I'm after a new set of scales just wondered what everyone else is using? Main thing is there not too big as I like to travel light so being able to stuff them in a pocket would be nice. Cheers .Ben

    Machine wash....or not?

    I've reproofed my gore tex riding gear for years using nik wax stuff and washing machine with no Ill effects. Once washed use the spray on stuff while still wet, the water beads off lovely!
