A pink fish-in ... count me in! As long as it doesn't clash with the Dudmaston eel night ;) Should be warmer than the last BFW fish-in at Hampton Loade (-7 ) and a lot more fish on the bank. For anyone who hasn't fished there, it's a really beautiful place, and has regular steam trains running along the opposite bank.

No clash Andy;)

Well done Dean, for getting this off the ground and running.
Hopefully it will be a great day, with plenty of money raised for a great cause.

count me in dean, i lost my wife after 29 years to BC.in may (after suffering with it twice) & do as much as i can for the various charities, the fishing will be a bonus. i know you do what you think best but may i suggest severn hospice as one of them as i have seen 1st hand the work they do & how those angels go about doing it.

Hi Dean, bit far out but I will initially say yay, thanks for organising this, I still shiver when I think back to THAT night in my bivvy at -7 with 3 season bag...........!! I thought I was much tougher :)

Ian dont worry I promise it not be -7.With help of a good friend trying to get one or two surprises sorted out as well .Trying to make it a little different from the normal fish inn. Thanks lads for interest already

Ian, you couldn't have been that cold ... I could actually feel your snoring coming though the ground. Although I was comatose for most of the night (what was left of it) after 'that' session in the pub. Woke up to find the end of my sleeping bag was touching the bivvy wall and was frosted over! Good weekend though.

Andy, just think how cold it would have been without the pint and a half of light shandy we had during that sensible and moderate session in the pub ;)

Would there be a "Camping" option this time around Dean?

Ian, as the landlord kindly agreed to stay open a few minutes or so longer than normal, I decided to treat myself to an extra half of shandy, something I wouldn't normally do. Gave me a great few hours sleep, but left me feeling a little subdued in the morning.

If Deano can square it with the landowner and the club, it would suit me to have a couple of shandies in the River and Rail followed by some kip in the bivvy and an early start for the barbel on the Sunday. I'd probably fish Saturday afternoon/evening before the pub then.
