Tay Muckboot

Before i get a pair of these, can anyone advise if the standard Tay Muckboot is ok for Spring/Summer/Autumn use or would they be too warm?
Cheers, Neil

Neil, I wear mine all the year round, they are fine in the summer, i have only had to roll mine down twice.

Regards Ray Thorpe

Thanks for confirmation, wasnt too sure of the specs as some seem to have fleece lining. Like the look of the soles on these compared to the Derwent/Esk
Cheers, Neil

Just the thought of my feet being too warm when fishing is unimaginable at the moment and has been for several months - roll on summer...:(.

Tay sports for winter only, any temp above 8C and your feet will cook.

I have used my Tays for the first winter and would recommend that you can get away just fine without the sports. Just add an extra pair of socks. Should be addequate in summer if a little hot but may just change into hiking boots when it gets really hot.
I also picked the Tays because of the soles compared to the other models. Have been very happy with the grip. Muckboots are a great company. Even have a pair of Humbers for work.

This was my concern about summer use. Thanks to the replies, seems the standard tay will be ok and is the one to get. Cheers guys, Neil

Just to add, I have had a pair for over 2 years now and no splits, tears or any leaks. Makes me cry to think of all the money I wasted on boom 80s and skeetex for all those years.
