I think the Korda ones look quite good, I might have to invest. Will they make me a better Karper? Will they help me spod my munga at 100yds? These are the important questions.

'Are Barbel the new Carp?' No. It seems to me though that Barbel have been the 'New Salmon' for quite a while judging by how seriously a lot of barbel anglers take themselves.
I would get a couple of rigs out to the area thats just been 'harrowed' as quickly as possible, as the fish will be checking out and feeding over the 'new ground' in the coloured water. In fact Mr. Hearn has written quite a bit on this very subject...
