Ressurect and old thread.... Has anyone used the new Korum xtnd range of 10ft rods ? Was looking at them the other day. 2.25 and 2.75 tc. I like using shorter rods just a little dubious if they would be ok on bigger rivers.

Anyone wanting a boot rather than welly the Muck boot 10" lace up boots are superb ! Lightweight, really warm, waterproof and nice to walk in.

How much do you need. Im sure i have some power pro in 13kg somewhere. Ive got both on my pike rods, i personally prefer the pp over the X8.

Yes, silvers were showing allover. Got to be worth a bash for a pike. I know what you mean about giving info away, i know a few great spots near me that id not share. Pike are getting thin round me, so less people in the know the better.

While sat there i did notice a few pike hitting the fry in the margins, they were relentless ! Anybody fish for pike on there ? Definately worth a go from what i saw.

Not busy at all, 3 course anglers on. 2 bivied up, then 2 more came with barrows later on, i suspect to fish all night. We fished 6:30 am till 3:30 ish. Will probably go later and fish into dark next time i think.

Yesterdays trip was a blank. Nice place though. Tried plenty of baits, no joy. There was 3 of us with 2 rods out each.
