I have the Drennan one , use it on the Trent and carping , also have the Korum one for smaller rivers .

Apart from they turn themselves on all the time , despite mine being kept in a hard case Although the green light is a big plus , leave it on low and it keeps the rats away

Yes but the handles actually fold , even the Castizm handles don’t do that , something that bugged me along with the inconsistent drag and baitrunner . I use my Shimano OCs now and they feel all clunky and agricultural compared to the Whiskers , definitely in reel eutopia now 🥰

There’s worse things to waste your money on… ( although to me it’s not a waste of money )
