End of an era or dawn for change?

Although this post is not directly related to the original one I'd just like to say------ I haven't been a member of the B/S for a long time and I haven't fished for the last couple of seasons or so. However last Thursday evening I had a phone call inviting me along to the B/S meeting being...

    Meat

Many thanks for the replys lads, it's much appreciated. Myself I always use a large hook and place a piece of grass under the bend to stop it pulling back through rather than a boilie stop, because I think it looks more natural to the fish. If I've coated the meat and given it a quick fry it...

    Meat

Just a quick question. Do you prefer to hair rig meat, or hook it in the normal way, and what if any advantage do you see in the method you use? Take care Jim.:)

    artifital hemp.

Or do what we used to do years ago. A length of black cycle valve rubber cut to hemp size pieces and paint a white stripe on it. Used to work a treat on the Thames when you'd really got the fish going mad with the loose feed. Take care Jim.:)

Morning all, I hope Santa's been kind. Does anyone have experience of the side cast? my question being, do you find that the line coming off at one angle and being retrieved at another causes line twist? My only experience of using c/p's with this facility dates back to the 1950's when we used...
