Managed a few hours this morning and had this one around 6lb.
Rod felt nice and balanced paired up with a small baitrunner. Was worried
the rod wouldn’t have enough stopping power but there’s plenty enough.
Rods are a very personal thing, but I’d class it as £120 well spent.
Rod arrived today with no notification from Cotswold or the courier it was being delivered.
First impressions are good bit I’ll try and get on the bank with it in the next few days.
Build quality looks spot on shame about the customer service.Think they are looking for someone to look after...
Still waiting for mine to arrive.Ordered on 20th July still not arrived yet.Was promised delivery last Tuesday that never happened.Still waiting for response to my emails.
Good job I’m not in a rush for it.
If you could push the budget up a little(£250ish),you’d get a second hand Sony RX100 Mk3.Good image quality in a very compact camera.Flip up screen and port to plug in a intervalometer which make self takes a breeze.
There is an old thread on this site from 2016 where someone is asking the same question
Mr Gill is “pretty sure the blank is not chimera based”
Are you still of the same opinion Bob?
Try top notch tackle on eBay.They have a similar one for sale at the moment.
The one in your photo looks like the daiwa mission spreader.I lost my first one,
so bought another complete net.Now discontinued so not an option😒
If your'e fishing the Ferry field, up the top end from the fence and cattle grid downstream to the lone tree always used to produce.
But when I fished it Notts fed ran it and the Ashfield book was 40 quid with no waiting list!! How time Flies.
Can't see why the area wouldn't still produce.
Good...
Are the rods a custom build or standard? Just tried one of my Emblem 25br's on my standard build big water and it fits fine.
I've used a 6000oc with it and that fits fine too. Most of the time I have a Daiwa theory 4000sp and use this set up with weights up to 4oz
