    christmas barbel / pike ????

Terry welcome to bfw , i fish quite often for pike on the wye , fish close in look for fallen trees , over hanging bushes , creases in the river , slow deep pools etc , dead baiting is the best in my opinion , roach , trout and lamprey get the results for me , good luck .

Mark being a fit lad that you are you need to walk down to brean down , walk up the steps up the steep hill and walk down to the other side the western side and fish from the rocks , very hard walk but the results are worth it , good luck.
