I'm not a member, but Godalming AS have a rule that you can only wear waist waders NOT chesties on one of their venues. Advice from their page or Apollo Angling at Marsh Farm might not go amiss
I have the gardnerXL. I have managed to get two of the telescopic sections jammed together. Always a problem with tele sections. I forgot about it. I'll have to get it out of the shed and loosen it. 😁😉
I have an old TFG one but I wouldn't recommend it only the size is good , the sides are not high enough on a sloping bank as found on many swims. it's also very bulky to carry
The only reservation about the fast mat is its size.
I don't think that it's big enough for the largest barbel, indeed I believe that Kings Weir have now introduced a minimum mat size of 100cm.
The fast mat is 85cm
I'd Agree with Terry about the salt.
The Kings weir spopper has the pin made the same way as Christophe's originals.
BFW have some good spoppers, Possibly made by Eddie Bray I have some of his as well. They work just fine
