I have the angling intelligence pole and spoon and have used it on occasion, dropping the rig as well. However, it can be v tricky given a bit of flow! To this end I do use the dropper most of the time.

The Petzl Myo I have is far,far brighter than the alpkit, and is in fact too bright! Hence my suggestion of the Alpkit. But i'm sure other models in the Petzl range are better suited to angling however.

As an owner of both a petzl and alp kit, go for for the alpkit!

Nick, the venues can be marked as private when adding (as the majority of users have done) hence they will not show in the venues list. it may turn out that eventually I remove the venue list all together, but its early days only being live a couple of days. Had a great response though.
