Floats

Thank you so much Andrew, appreciated, if you could give us a heads up when the river is looking good, that would be great. Sorry to hear about your latest accident, get well soon mate. 👍
Thanks Derek, it’ll be OK eventually! Why don’t you let me know when you want to fish and just cancel if the river is out? Recently winter has been good for the most part for either barbel or chub as we haven’t had much snow.

Hi Derek, good to hear from you. I have no plans for a BFW fish-in but we could sort one. I would suggest in the winter TBH. You and your brother are welcome anytime just message or call me. Both knees are functioning brilliantly, I cannot believe the change they have made, no peg is too far :). Trouble is, although well timed as the fishing season had just ended I fell over at work and have damaged my bicep tendons and rotator cuff in my shoulder
Rotator Cuff Andy. Painful.
That'll be 4 months then!

Push to get it sorted, Andrew. I'm in for the op in October, after having one done four years ago, which ironically, I've damaged again. Up until that point, my shoulder was a lot better. So will probably need a revision operation on that.

The pain at night is the worst for me. Very difficult to get comfortable, and being woken up in pain a couple of times a night.

All the best with it. 👍

Yes that's exactly it, the pain at night can be excruciating and means a decent night is never on the cards. Good luck with the op and keep me posted as to how it goes!

Cheers

Andy

No. it just drags on. I've met a few people with the injury including my GP! Hopefully more injections next week
I have had this issue for nearly a year now. I have seen the physio team at work and as painful now as when it first started. I think I have just got accustomed to it and the pain.

I assume it is not getting any better or worse then? :(
Swings and roundabouts Andrew, sometimes it feels like it is improving but then gets really painful again. The only good thing now is I generally get a good nights sleep, at times it was waking me up through the night. It seems odd but I used to find it easier to sleep if I was actually laid with my weight on the shoulder. It is a very painful condition. It just started on a fishing trip in France last year, no idea why as never did anything to cause it.
