Which Braid or Mono for the new season?

for years i swore by daiwa sensor, then this season i decided to try matt hayes red mist in 12lb and had the best season ever, i found it doesnt kink and coil and has some good stretch and best of all "the fish cant see it":D
although i,m not confident with it for barbel fishing, braid i,d have to recomend power pro
tight lines all

Yes 20lb. does the job nicely for me:) about the same diameter as 6bs. mono:eek:

Another for Berkley Big Game, use it in 12lb. Tried Sensor in brown last year in 8lb and 6lb for smaller barbs & chub and found it coils like hell, threw it all away in the end.

10lb Pallatrax Gamma for me, looks right and never let me down.

Big Game clear in 10lb and Daiwa Sensor in 8lb for chubbing. I've had no real problems but did find out that the Sensor does not appear to like grinner knots unless I was just being ham fisted.

Ordered some Big Game Clear off Fleebay, and will leave my Power Pro as it is. Thanks for all your feedback and advice guys. 81 days to go and counting!!

sticking with the power pro used it for the last 3 yrs and have every confidence in it all down to personal choice the end of the day.

braid

hi there for me as tried and tested berkley whiplash is the best by far i have found
30lb is 0.10mm diam which standard mono is 0.23 to 0.30 at 10lb
and 20lb is a astonishing 0.06mm that is as thin as 3lb mono
available now in fluro type braid to and weed green
i love the braid it has never let me down or hurt any fish etc just brilliant
hope this helps
regards
