Got a sack from there the other week, but only because my usual place down the road has doubled the price!
 
Some times it wont split ?

Over the years i have bought hemp from pet shops in bulk sacks .
Some times I have bought from tackle shops in smaller bags and for what ever the reason :(
After soaking for 24hrs and boiling ,Some times it will split :) and some times it wont :rolleyes:
Can any one offer an explanation as to why some times it wont split :mad:
 
I too am interested in a new supplier. I was going to ask at a few local pet shops where I get the bird food from. Also could you share what price you have paid. Whilst stocking up Saturday at my local tackle shop I enquired about hemp & they said £60 a sack !

About 4 yrs ago I paid £13 so an idea on prices would be great.

We had the same difficulty, you know, so decided to produce it ourselves on the Estate. Like so -

Apart from a few no-longer surefooted hippos, wide-eyed cows and wandering vagrants, it all went swimmingly: unlimited quantities of help for the Golden Beauties. That was, until the police helicopter landed...
