Absolutely, without a doubt EELS. :D

They have been very active on the lower severn/WA sections this season IMO. Had a few this year 'hang on' to a boilie right into the margins then dropping off .

Eels, i've had quite a few this season with baits getting whittled down on a regular basis.
 
Looks like its those bloomin' eels then! Must admit, my first thought was crayfish!

No prize for guessing i'm afraid, but yes....its a duo barbel lite.
