Anthony - may I ask if the trousers are over-trousers, or ones that be worn next to the skin?

Hi Richard - They are not marketed as either and I have worn in both circumtances for long periods of time. They are very lightweight, breathable and are lined with some special silver membrane, Properly comfortable.
