I can now get screwing.
Brian.
Sorry lads, i have such a dull life, retired but work as a bailiff on Throop, i can walk to the river and be on the bank in 3 minutes, this makes it very difficult when the river is unfishable, it is then i have to sit and look out of the window.
Brian.
3/8 bsf is right but I have a real gem , got a daiwa rubber landing net and me having 4 landing net poles it only holds on one in fact my 2 drennan specialists you can slide net thread on and off without screwing it
You call that dull Brian? I am retired, live ruddy miles from the river...and I don't drive. I go through long periods when I just cannot muster the enthusiasm to go fishing, despite the fact that fishing was the love of my life before I retired. So I spend most of my time looking out of the window. Now THAT is dull
Cheers, Dave.
if dave g ever fancy's trout, there's a little river 5 minutes from his house..lol
agree,a pity, a Shadow of it's former self.Only trouble there is the poor thing has dried up for the first half mile or so of it's existence (500 yds from my front door) Not sure how much water there is around latimer/Chorleywood, nor who now have the fishing rights. The trout fishery at Latimer Park Lakes no longer have the river, and the lakes are syndicate. The only free bit I am aware of is the bit by the park at Rickmansworth, which is only a shadow of it's former self.
Cheers, Dave.
