Stota Bait Developments?

John Cook

Hi All,

Anybody tried this bait company's boilies pellets or paste? Their gravel grenades frozen boilies seem to be taking a few fish Barbel and carp, some big ones at that.....PM if you prefer...

Agree 100% Mark, but you need a bait and you need to have confidence in it dont you?

Stota

Using their Gravel grenades at the moment, was looking for a new bait as most of my old ones don't exist any more apart from one or two.

Caught a few fish on them, seen some BIG fish caught on them and will be by main bait for this season as I'm not into chop and change, I liked them as they were developed on the Trent initially .

Great guys too, really friendly and helpful, if you know me I'm no bullsh*tter when it comes to these things as life's too short, I just want a bait that is decent quality , maybe a slightly new edge and will make me feel confident in catching.

It's not the only variety they do have a look at the website;

Buy a kilo, try them , speak to Joey and make your own mind up.

So far I'm liking them..

Matthew thank you for your reply and your honest assesment of the bait...I will order a kilo and some paste and give it a run out...

no info given regarding the make-up of their baits, just terms like "secret flavours" etc. They may well (or may not) catch fish, but i wouldn't have any confidence in a bait without having a good idea of its constituants.

2 to 5 years development before they launch a new bait ? yeah right...

may turn out to have great products (or not) but wouldn't be on my list with the limited info available regardless of reported catches.

Marty ive been told all about the secret flavours id like to tell but they are secret:)

Being a sucker for such things, I have also acquired 1kg. Oh and some paste. And some pellets. John-lets compare results!

Yes we can do that Howard:)

I thought that bait companies were required to put the ingredients on the packaging now Marty? Or has that not come into effect yet?

Cheers, Dave.

i'd be amazed if that ever happens Dave!

It's not even compulsory for some human consumption foods (did you ever see a full ingredient list on a bucket of KFC ?)
