I thought the guy had stopped making them a while back Lee. I'm interested to see what you find out though, because I'd like to get hold of one for the Trent and Lower Severn

Great bit of kit, but cant really see anyone doing this themselves, when you've got to make your own lead mould?

Just putting the finishing touches to my homemade effort, It does work too! With the exception of the Spomb, the rest of it is made with recycled bits off old baitdroppers etc.

You watch ... we'll all be spending hours in the garage, spending £10-20 making these things ..... then Aldi will start selling them : A pack of 3 in different sizes, for a fiver

I like that Mark, you've simplified it further by making the same as a bait dropper...might have a go at one myself.

Me too, also made one for the big spomb.

I have a question. Is this device any better than using a very large loaded swimfeeder, filled the same way as you would normally fill an open ender. Then cast into the swim and the contents struck out? I can see that it may be a bit more aerodynamic, therefore accurate but are there any more benefits?

I don't think they make swimfeeders that big Stephen ... it'd have to be about 15cm long/ 4cm+ diameter! The beauty of Spoppers IMO is the sheer volume they can deposit, and all on the bottom.
