Small river Rod recommendation

I bought a cheap Korum All-rounder. 12ft.
Designed for float or feeder fishing. 1 5tc.

It was perfect for a blackcap feeder on Throop. Showing every bite. I also use it for perch sometimes. But a bit soft in the tip if casting lives for them and pulling hook home.
The Drennan Avon tip is very firm and I imagine would make a good rod for what you do.

just launched and should make for the perfect perch tip rod on small rivers:

Lovely rods, but over kill for perch.

Have a look at the Darenth Valley Specialist rods sold by The Tackle Box. I know the 11ft rods are well regarded for money. Not sure if they do a 10ft'er though. Can't comment on the more expensive Elite DVS's but having had a couple of own build rods from the TTB, I have found them excellent value for money.
That would have my vote too for the price.
Or if your lucky to snap one up, get yourself a Drennan 9ft-10ft ultralight mini feeder rod, has some phenomenal perch on that rod, although I sent a flavour trail down towards the snag to bring them out via a feeder setup.

I’ve got a 8ft quiver greys for sale if anyone is Interested great small river rods

It’s in the classifieds

I will admit a bias, in the I use a Harrison 1.4lb Avon for most my fishing now days, landing barbel to over 16lb on them, however, I love their action on small fish in little streams to. At 11ft, they may be too long for some tight swims on the tiny streams, but I can get away with them in most swims.
