Rod graphic removal advise

Put a short decorative whipping just down from the transfer and heavy gloss that part only leaving the rest natural carbon. Would look great.

I would too although my clear coat application needs practice.
I can never get it to the same standard of a professional application.

I know it’s designed for not harming body work but just the thought of going near a rod with a big fast spinny thing sends shudders through my spine.
remember it’s not flat like a car body. You could easily slip off the blank and run the drill chuck straight into it.
take your time do it by hand is my advice

Great suggestion - do it by hand. Apart from a 'whizzy thingy' abrading the rod you could generate quite a bit of heat as well.
