On the forever quest of scaling down and travelling as light as poss, I've been looking more and more at the cotswold roamer chair/shimano stalker seat type folding chairs. Does anyone use one, and how do you find it?

Yep I mentioned in my post, the backrest version is better imo, the rucksack can get in the way imo.I use this one from Shakespeare. It also means I don’t need to carry a rucksack. I think they do one with a backrest as well.
Oh, and another thing. The material on the seat of the Korum job ripped apart at the seem after I'd only used it a handful of times! I am not large! For a chair costing well over a hundred quid for the reclining model that's simply unacceptable!Wychwood are releasing a new range of specialist luggage in the near future. I'm not sure if this will include a decent lightweight chair?
So many otherwise good lightweight chairs are let down by the front legs not adjusting long enough for sloping banks. The JRC is a nice, comfortable and very light chair but the legs don't extend anywhere near long enough. I have the korum aeronium but though the legs extend to a decent length it isnt very comfortable! I must have atleast 4 chairs now. None really tick all the boxes.
I've been using the nash indulgence ultra light for about 5 years now, very light and comes with a built in carry strapOh, and another thing.
