rivermonsters again

Chuffing Nora! What is the world coming too? First they cancel the half episode of River Monsters because of a mere royal wedding. Now they've cancelled the full episode because a load of fat beer monsters want to throw their arrows at a bull's eye. I don't know what's worse.

I know what's worse and it ain't the weighty beer swiggers neeva.:D

I have watched every one of this series and I must admit I have enjoyed every minute.

Well done Jeremy Wade.

Jon

Are you all aware that the Tuesday show is a condensed version and you can see the full one hour show on ITV4 at various days and times (you have to check weekly cos it varies)???
Much better show (warts 'n' all)

Keith

I guess those who have Sky TV may know that Mr Wade is on Tight Lines this Friday.

Ian

I must be the only one who finds this Wade bloke irritating, he manages to over dramatise everything, I have not seen one of these programmes yet that did not wind me up!

And at moments of tension (because he has talked up whatever “dangerous†species to a point of hysteria) he repeats everything twice!

It would take something to get me in a boat with him, last thing you need is a boat partner that looses it as fast as he does, you need calm and purposeful when you are boating through hoards of crocs!

have to agree, a little less of the amateur dramatics.
but well worth watching.:D

The constant recap approach is irritating but very common in documentary style programmes particularly those aired on commercial TV , perhaps they think we will forget what had already happened whilst the adverts are on . Overall the programmes are entertaining and levelled at a general audience, I think they work well ,streets ahead of Knobson and his mindless extreme fishing drivel , he does the sport of Angling no favours

Tight Lines this week...

Friday 10th February 7:00pm Sky Sports 4
Repeated: 10:00pm Sky Sports 4
Sat. 1:30am Sky Sports 4
5:00am Sky Sports 4
8:00am Sky Sports 4

Keith will joined in the bothy by Jeremy Wade, presenter of the hugely popular River Monsters series, to discuss his adventures and give us an insight into his own particular style of extreme fishing.

If you haven't got SKY you can always watch it on PODCAST from the SKY website ;)

Is he running out of ideas? last nights programme was the worst ever, what poo!

All my wife says about River Monsters is " It's going to be a bloody catfish again :p"

It's quite simple.

Robson green is an actor who goes fishing badly. And Jeremy wade is a fishermen who goes about acting badly.

Sadly drama sells, let's face it if a bloke went on about what rig, net and handle to use only the anglers would watch.

Thats absolutely bang on Nick..... dont look into it too much fellas, if we didn't have a fishing programme on we would all be moaning. My young daughter was up at 430 this morning so I looked up RM on itv4 for the hour version on I player. A country mile better than the 30min version. Looking fwd to the next few escapades. .....
