Get yourself a pet Mink, I have not seen a rat on the Trent since they have been running free but bugger me when they get hold of a hare behind you it scares the **** out of ya!!:eek:
 
Or a cleverly fashioned Makro Contorsi centre pin on a spindle, like a hamster wheel with a choice bait just out of reach. Then the rat could run for over 2 minutes while you loaded the gun/primed the dynamite.:)
