Quivers with sleeves or any other options!?

I called Aqua up and had a good chat with a guy there. Really helpful when discussing compatibility of sleeves on the quiver and he went through all the various buckles/straps etc. Sounds great, as long as it's not a fight to get rods in and out

All previous holdalls are hopefully with their happy owners who got a bargain. There'll be another up for sale soon though
It is quite funny going into the garage, 5 rod bag with the good carp rods in, 2 rod bag with the economy carp rods in, rod bag with the posh barbel rods in, quiver with the economy barbel rods in, sleeves for floater, marker, spod rods. Then the waggler rod. Would make a nice feature wall in the house thinking about it

I have just been going through the exact same dilema as this.
I am not a big fan of quivers, and i have been looking for a 2 rod holdall that offers reasonable protection, without being too heavy and over the top, but offers bankstick, net and brolly carrying options for when i've got a bit of a trek to do.
I have looked at a few an the Drennan Specialist seemed ideal, but reservations over the reel size accommodation had put me off.
Anyway, i took a gamble and picked one up today, and thankfully, my Shimano 4500b's do fit, with the handles folded.
Took a little bit of manipulation to start, mainly due to the fact the holdall was bent in half and mishapen from storage on the box it came in but after laying it out and working it back into shape, it zips up well.
2 extra pockets one side for sticks and net handle, couple of internal lead/feeder pouches, and the 'base pocket' plus straps the other side for brolly attachment.
Seems to be well built like most Drennan gear.
The alternative was to be one from Trakker, the 'compact' which offers 'top and tail' rod storage.
Or failing that, Cotswold Aquarius look to do a couple of options.

@Guy Leeder hey mate, I did buy the Drennan 2 rod hard case and my 6000 reels were just too tight in there so I sold it on. Was a lovely piece of tackle but just didn't fit. Drennan have replied to me this evening and confirmed a 6000 size will fit in the single rod sleeves, but I've already pulled the trigger on the Aqua stuff. I'm sure the Drennan will serve you well

It’s called a Nash 12ft Double Rod Skin actually , lolHi Rob Nash did a 2 rod specialist rod sleeve , I have one I use for my feeder rods and my castizm fit in perfectly , maybe worth a look on eBay

Trakker NXG 2 rod padded sleeve. Loads of room inside, pockets for brolly, landing net handle and another pocket that i have a korum river pod in, 2 large and 2 small bank sticks. £49.99.

Just info for anyone reading, I had messaged Drennan International to ask specifically if a 6000 size reel would fit in a SINGLE specialist rod case, they have replied and said yes it will...

Ok, lets see how these come out!
OK, well they came out ok! You can see how much room there is inside. Those are Shimano XT6000RB's and no problems zipping the pouch up.

I bought the compact version (1up,1down) to replace a Korum total protection,great piece of kit,much more user friendly

Right, ordered the Aqua roving quiver, two padded sleeves (the ones that cover to below the reel) and some Drennan Socks for tips and butts, they are just a little bit longer than the Aqua ones (10cm). Look forward to getting them. Just over £100 all in, but then it is looking after nearly a grands worth of rods and reels!
I was looking at that quiver and also the Thinking Anglers slim quiver. I've ended up buying the Fox Specialist Quiver as I have the specialist brolly so its the only one I can be 100% sure the brolly will fit.
Also ordered some Speero reel pouch system protectors. Never seen Speero kit before but some of their luggage looks decent.

I can just about squeeze my specialist brolly into the Fox Specialist quiver, but its hard work and it means I can't properly fit my banksticks and net into the side pockets.
It's a shame because I find the specialist quiver really handy other than that.

Oh, I assumed with them both being the same range they would be made for each other. If it's too tight I'll look at sending it back for a different one.
