Portable Radio

What sort of Battery Life are you getting from the Pure Move?
My Roberts Gemini gave about 12 hours (on rechargeables) but has met with an untimely end!

Ian. Those prices for such a good radio are brilliant.

Yeah I got mine through amazon, it was also one of the refurbes but you'd never know. It looked and worked like brand new. I also applied for the amazon credit card(£15.00 credited to my acount on first purchase) and then bought the radio. All in for about about a pony.

the radio has perfomed brilliantly and only needs charging after every fourth or fifth fishing trip. I also use it around the graden etc. Great little bit of kit and worth every penny.

Got a refurb PURE DAB Move for what appears to be a v good price via amazon and am very impressed. Didn't want it for fishing (have a sony walkman radio and headphones which I use when the footie is on), but wanted a small digital portable for the garden and it is not only small, but nicely designed and easy to use. Sound quality great for such a small device. Thanks for recommending.

I've been umming and ahhing over a Pure Move for a couple of months now. Finally found an Ebay seller offering the special edition (with the leather case) for less than most were doing bog standard refurbs. What a cracking bit of kit, battery seem to last as long as I'll ever need, 20hrs+. If DAB reception really is a worry for you, it's got FM on there as well.

Better even than the Pahnd Shop was when, four years ago, at the time of the last World Cup, the Dangling Crimes a week before kick-off had a 2 or 4 AAA-cell-powered, tiny radio with earphones taped to its front. My first and only purchase of the paper in many years. The radio is still working, though I never use it when fishing.

a good tip for iPhone users is that the move has an auxhillary in jack, so get a phono to phono lead for a quid or two and use it as a speaker for your dog'n. Even better, down load shoutcast or tunein radio and have Internet radio on the bank.
