Pike ... Red letter day

From time to time we are all blessed with a good days fishing ... and I have been lucky enough to have just had such a day:D

For the first time ever on a piking session I ran out of bait in four hours after notching up 24 runs with 19 fish landed .... including four doubles to 16:8:D

The real pleasure was also fishing 110 acres of mature gravel pit and being the only soul there .......... long live carp fishing:rolleyes:

Ian, yeah kind of. It had rained somewhat overnight and the lake came up about 6inch; which is a lot of water in that size of lake.
