Photos of river scenes

This could be the reason why barbel are a rarity up here in Norfolk. (photo taken by a mate whilst he was chub fishing)

A few shots taken from under the brolly of D.Stour kingfishers during the past few days.
All taken from a distance and mostly in the rain,..

Sorry if you’ve told us before but what photographic gear are you using?

Morning Bill. I’m using a Nikon d500 body with either a Nikon 200-500mm f5.6 or Nikon 300mm f4 PF lenses for wildlife,….. for landscape/scenes I use a Nikon d750 with a Nikon 24-70mm f2.8 lens mostly.
I’ve also a Nikon d7500 which I like for general photography.🙂📸

I think what Dave meant to say was that it's magic.

(Despite being nowhere near them location wise, I regularly pay a visit to the H. Avon and D. Stour threads purely for your photos Dave. Absolutely mustard stuff.)

My wife and I revisited Vers on the river Lot today. If our plans to buy a rather ancient camper-car work out then the campsite at Vers is close to home but has fishing and a good restaurant nearby. These photos should show you why we really fancy spending some time here.....

I have never fished this stretch, but it does look promising! 😍

It looks lovely Steve. A camping-car is a brilliant way to access some beautiful places and excellent fishing spots. If you ned any advice about any aspect of buying or owning a camping-car drop me a pm. There are one or two things you ought to know if you are going to buy an older one.

Thanks Clive, I will pm you shortly. 👍
