What are you more excited about?

River season starting next week or the world cup kicking off on Friday?

Me, I don't now where to put myself at the moment I'm so excited about a festival of football and a couple of days to be spent relaxing by the Loddon.

Thank goodness England aren't playing their second match til the 18th.

It 's great when an England team , football or otherwise are in a major tournament . When the big games come the banks are a lot less populated by anglers as many are at home / in the pub watching the game , more swims to go at , result !. The downside is that usually England don't get very far , and the anglers are soon back on the banks again :(
 
Got to be the world cup as i'll be out of action for a couple of weeks due to a minor shoulder op' in a weeks time....................Great timing or what?!?!?!
 
Wish we were playing on the 15th, it would give me a better chance of a good peg after work!!!!
 
First four days of the season are at Brignorth, so Friday June 18 should be great. No-one on the bank.Everone watching wendyball and me fishing.
Sorry over paid prima donna's doing nothing for me.

As my team are not there again this time round then i will off course be out on the rivers but i will have an ear open for the game on the radio.
