narrow drum dpeedis

Go to the other side , saves a lot of casting effort :)

Trouble is Mike; The other side is full of anglers casting to, you've guessed it, the other side

Same on trout reservoirs. Anglers on the bank wade as far as they can then try and cast 40 yds out while anglers in boats drift and cast as close to the bank as they can.

I am familiar with the bit of water Patrick is talking about, I believe the far bank rights are owned by a police angling club. If anyone intends to fish the easy side can I come and watch, a good laugh is getting hard to find these days.

My back garden is about 100 ft. long halfway down I have a small pond 6ft x 4ft. I can hit it about nine out of ten with a pin and an old carbon one and a quarter pound Harrison. Funnily enough about as regularly as I hit it with one of my Torrix one and three quarters and a shimi baby bait runner. Now if I use my 15 and a half foot Lionharts and a shimi technum mangle I can get nowhere near it but with a fourteen and a half foot Century Tip Tornado and a ABU6000 CT I can lob it in with monotonous regularity, revolving spool control see.
Anyone who fishes for Shbunkins and Black Moors and Golden Rudd in small garden ponds without using a 14ft plus tournament rod. For what it’s worth I would hazard a guess mine is around ten pound test, couple that with a suitable CT cage multiplier is obviously barking mad.

Patrick darling the clutch and braking systems on a good multiplier simply make threadlines sooo last year.
