Muckboots sale

Bugger. Ordered mine, just had a phone call to tell me there was website problem and they're out of stock, so all I'll be getting is a refund!! Never mind.

I have ordered a pair, went through no problem.
I had a pair of Tay's before and found the size 10 just a bit too tight so opted for size 11 on these.

All very strange this, after yesterdays call saying I ain't getting any, I've just had an email to say mine will be delivered this morning. With any luck, I'll get the boots and a refund!

Mine arrived this morning, very comfy, very good quality, laces seem a bit useless, don't do a thing, purely cosmetic me thinks, weIl
happy though.

Mine have arrived

Seem good quality and pretty light. Doesn't seem to be a sock liner though or am I missing something?

Luke, i was thinking the same, like a removable furry fleece liner like the skeetex have. But then, if you put your hand down the boot, you can remove the insole out of the bottom. Is this bit called a sock liner???

Boots are very light and easy to walk in, happy. :):):)

Got mine today, thanks for the link :)
Quality boots but far too big around the calf unless you have legs like Billy Vunipola. The laces should solve this but are a complete waste of time.
Will probably send mine back :(

Mine came today, next day delivery, to the wrong village which isnt their fault

Unfortunately they're too narrow for my short fat plates of meat so they're going back, unless someone wants a pair of size 7s for what I paid for them

So, had these for a while and only worn them a few times for dog walking. A bit snug on my chunky calfs but okay once they are on. I wore them for a work party on the Swale on Saturday and stayed on for a session afterward. There had been a good downpour during the work party and before hand but entered a slightly steep peg. These willies had the grip of a pair of carpet slippers and I ended up having to crawl out on my knees otherwise I was like a very large Bambi on ice, worth a punt and they will do for dog walking. Time to invest in some Artic Sports methinks.

Hi men,

My artic sports soles came away , admittedly after a few years , so gone for cheap and cheerful Grubbs frostline , £55 on ebay in camo finish . Not as warm obviously , but at half the price its a gabble worth taking .

Like Mark, both pairs of Arctic sport and tay sport lost their soles within a couple of years. Another pair I had gave me awful blisters on my heel as a bulge appeared inside on the heel on the right boot. IMO Muck boots are overated and overpriced. Surely I haven't been unlucky with all 3 pairs

Blinking eck Mark, 55 quid cheep and cheerful! Your bloody posh down in Luton, that’s full on luxury prices here!

I lost the sole to one of my muckboots a few years back and then went for a pair of grubs stalker boots and the sole went on those too! The glue they use aint man enough for British winters.

Hiking boots eversince and havent looked back. Just as warm but you cant splash in the puddles on your way home!

Never understood the love for muckboots. They make your feet sweat, take ages to dry out and mine fell to bits in 6 months. Rubbish.

I've worn mine all winter (the ones from this thread with the laces) and they have been brilliant so far. They have kept my feet warm when I've been out in minus temperatures even wearing thin socks. Not had any problems with grip as of yet although I tend to stay away from "dodgy" banks where possible when the temperatures are low.
