Lidle tackle sale ,

The net's the only thing worth bothering with, the rest of it is pony. I bought one of the nets last time round, just to leave in the van as a back up. I've used it a couple of times and it was particularly handy at Blenheim in the boat. It's rather like a Fastnet and surprisingly good for the money.

The tackle bags have had some very good reviews in the past. But i think they,ve nearly TREBLED  in price since i first saw them.

Derek, I think it was Aldi that done the good tackle bags a short while back. The Lidl ones don't look quite as good to me, especially if they've upped the price. Think I'll stick to my Korum.

The waders are fine had mine 2 yeas now, but buy one size bigger, or try them on in the shop like i did, you will get some funny looks from the women and maybe get told off by the manager like i did.

Good Luck Ray Thorpe

Cheers Ray at £14.99 they seem a bargain . Will try them on first like you suggest :)

the bags in this sale ,is the one with the tackle box's ,aldi and lidl both do a cheaper one (£6-£8) without the tackle box's sometimes .i still have a unused one without the tackle box's ,i keep as a spare for if/when i knacker the first one (usually snagg them on barbed wire fences) .i think the last time i saw this one with the tackle box's it was (£14.99 - £16.99) last time out ,aldi usually do their tackle a quid or two cheaper than lidl on sellected items .I brought a couple of the baitrunners (smaller sizes) for my nephew too use .and they have been really good ,handled low double figure carp on a commercial easily .I've used one of the landing nets for a couple of seasons now for my barbel fishing when on day sessions or roaming as they fold up quite small .the chemical lights are allways a bargin .

its the aldi bags at 8 quid which are the better ones.
they are made by crane sports, who incidently make em for chub who sell exactly the same bag with a chub badge on it for 25 quid....

Well boys, we all have our own opinions but I have two of those bags (Lidl) and use one for my boat fishing and one for my river fishing! I have had both for a number of years now and can't fault them for either quality or practicality! The boxes come in handy for other things (lures etc). Admittedly they are now quite a bit more expensive than they used to be but are still cheap enough for the quality.

Has any one brought them Starlights in the past from there ? Could do with a few of them for my eel fishing

Hi

Has peoples Lidle stores still got stocks of this tackle? I went to mine today for something to do and the assistant said it was Mondays offer and most of the stock was sold by Monday close of play..my Lidle's is superstore as well.

cheers

Adie

They are excellent if not a bit too bright, the greens are the brightest, reds, then blues. They come complete with their own tubes that you push the things in to so you can whip or tape around the rod tip. If you want some freebies let me know I have got some surplus I will never use, as I use the Drennans now.

I want the starlights for my rollover indicatators when eel fishing .At that price cant go wrong

the tackle will be put out ready for first thing monday morning (the 28th),then depending on where you live ,the number of anglers and poachers in your area will determine how fast the tackle lasts throughout the day .the glow sticks usually are the first too go ,then the lures and then the reels etc

so get there early monday morning ,and beat the poachers too the tackle.cherry pick the good stuff and leave the rest too them

the glow sticks are a steal, had some before, you'd pay more than that for a pack of two from tackle shops.
