Isotopes/ Nightlights

As Simon has already said, touch ledgering if you are using just the one rod. I've often nodded off but the rod being pulled out of your hand tends to wake you up :D

The carp have realised that they get free grub from the boaters, minus the hook!!
Don't see them in such numbers upstream since the marina was established.:mad:
 
Don't use the blue solar isotopes, really hard to see:mad:

Used a red solar isotope tonight, a lot better to see;)

Was sat with a mate later on having a brew when a big owl flew down towards rods, veering off at last second:eek: Nice sight but wouldn't want them hitting rods:eek:
 
Agree with others standard drennan not the brightest but keep in periphery, you will notice the movement in the dark, easier than staring at them. Baitrunner as a back up!
