As Simon has already said, touch ledgering if you are using just the one rod. I've often nodded off but the rod being pulled out of your hand tends to wake you up

The carp have realised that they get free grub from the boaters, minus the hook!!
Don't see them in such numbers upstream since the marina was established.

Agree with others standard drennan not the brightest but keep in periphery, you will notice the movement in the dark, easier than staring at them. Baitrunner as a back up!
