My ears have pricked up now. I managed to get 2 of the last shimano Thannus ci4 4000 from Felindre CardiffNa! For a barbel reel on the river, the thunnus ci4 tears strips out of it. Shimanos strongest gearing and best designed clutch is always fitted into their top end saltwater reels.

I recall Mr Bob Gill saying they were one of best reels he'd used for his barbel fishing, so I got the last pair this company had. Yet to use them, as I not a good deal on the DaiwaTDX 4000 QD reels. I'll have to use those Thannus reels, its just that they look to stupidly bling in that metallic blue & gold trim they decided to spray them in.
