Savay held some huge eels (as did Broadwater). I lost a fish at Savay that I’m sure was a very big eel and I’ve caught them on purpose in the past.Ah cool I remember seeing Brian Hankins with some big Savay bream. Didn't he have a massive eel from there too?
Who runs longlife?
Not really Joe, I had hoped to move up to Shropshire but the other half has other Ideas so I'll probably decline now, shameI'm a PAAS member, rejoined a couple of years after a 6 year hiatus.
Lots of waters local to me in Cheshire and and for a NW and WM based angler then PAAS membership is a no brainer tbh.
But if I had Ringwood and CAC tickets and lived in Hants / Dorset then I wouldn't bother with a PAAS ticket, not even for a tenner!
Is there a PAAS water that you are particularly keen to fish?
I'm after a couple of his barbel pins 4 yrs wait so far, if they come to fruition then I'll be happy, if not then I should of brought a lot earlier! You'd have just about got it by now as well![]()
Now, I am extremely interested in Leszek Delag aka Watermole’s reel, although I have no idea how to order from him yet (maybe through vintage fishing tackle forum?) his work is amazing. I would say definitely on par with Chris.I'm after a couple of his barbel pins 4 yrs wait so far, if they come to fruition then I'll be happy, if not then I should have brought a lot earlier!![]()

she is beautiful. Bikes ok too. Am I allowed to say that nowadays? If not, I withdraw my remarks and replace with, I think she is beautiful! That was my last one (‘62 series 2) full nut & bolt. Have given up now as dont really enjoy riding them these days, road condition & traffic speed (or just getting too old!).
This is one of my wedding photos (Brighton)

That was the last photo of the day. We’d had really good, sunny weather all day the decided to have one last photo before the rain started and was caught just as i looked up and said “here comes the rain”ps, the fella ruins the photo though!
well done. 57, that's quite a number, remember Heinz!. Been married that long too! Met the day Kennedy was shot. Always said that was a bad day for everybody! Ha!That was the last photo of the day. Was a great day and consider myself a lucky lad. We’ve known each other since the age of 4, went through both schools together and then met up a few years later so my best mate as well as my missus (we’re 57 now).
No thanks, i don’t own any now. Never liked the LD’s either tbh. Get rid asap if i were you as the market for them is dying off (literally!). SX & TV’s were going for ridiculous amount's 10-15 years ago but none of the kids want them now. At some point the youngsters might pull their pants up, ditch their hoody’s & get a decent haircut but i wont hold my breath!@Gavin Burt - Dont want to add to your collection per chance do you?
My late father was a vintage car and bike nut - I've managed to auction off the cars but still have a MINT late 50's Lambretta LD150 - its pretty much concourse condition but has been dormant and garaged for a few years now. Battleship grey / twin stitched and sprung leather seats - totally original etc . . . . . PM me lol
