When doubles are rare you've got to be happy when half of them are over 11lbs, Mike?
I don't think even electric fishing would show what a stretch of the Ouse holds, David. From what I understand, it is largely ineffective in deep water. I tend to think that sustained angling will usually reveal what is present...but then often wonder whether angling pressure will move them on, even if they've avoided being hooked?? One thing is for sure, we'll never know all of the answers
