Cheers John
I do spend a bit of time on them to be honest
Filing the burrs off the leads when they come out of the mould takes a while quite chuffed with them though I'm addicted to buying moulds now though wife's not best pleased haha

Hi

some great leads there. I particularly like the swivels on the last pic as they have the very large eye which is so much better for running rigs.

Funnily enough the first thing I usually do with a new lead is chop the swivel off, I find it an unnecessary tangle point when I'm using a snap swivel or run ring in the rig.

Hi gents
Cheers John started my own FB Page now got right into making these leads and Feeders Iam jean on the big eyes that's the reason I opted for them really I know what you mean though Adrian I push a piece of silicone over the swivel
There's always the option to cut them off if there not required

I started making some a couple of weeks ago . I'm fishing the trent and Dove and needed feeders up to about five ounces. I made the lead moulds by chiseling out an oak floor board to the required depth (ohnest it works) Dead easy and have moulds for 3,4 and five ounce. Used curlers for the cage, but will switch to wire as they crack after a while. The attachments are easy, just 40lb coated trace wire swivel, crimp and rubber tubing. Look the business. You can get the lead from a plumbers merchant or melt all those old leads down that you don't use
