I thought it an unfamiliar name PaulYes, a magnificent fish, well done. Just a shame the captor is not a BFW member or contributor
Certainly a cracking fish Bill. Looks like it had an Otter near miss once.A cracking looking Bristol Avon fish of 18lb on the home page lads. Well caught Stephen Sweeten
In fairness, the fish is being thrust forward, so the scale isn't relative to the anglerThat fish is huge , I can only dream of catching such a mighty specimen , very well done
agree Chris, I don't like photos that make the fish look ridiculously massive, but its still a clonker !In fairness, the fish is being thrust forward, so the scale isn't relative to the angler
To be fair I was member of this syndicate two years ago when this fish was caught at 15plus it was bloody ginormous. In fairness, the fish is being thrust forward, so the scale isn't relative to the angler
Of course. I certainly don't doubt it's weight. It just seems more and more trophy shots are with the camera lens up close, or the fish held way forward.Donāt think it really matters where he is holding it in the photo
The chaps fingers show enough to scale that fish. Itās bloody enormous and would absolutely destroy anything Iāve ever landed ā¦ā¦ with whiskers
Well done that man Iām chuffed for him.
True. Personally though Iād rather see the fish up close than the angler (apologies to some of the super models on the Forum).Of course. I certainly don't doubt it's weight. It just seems more and more trophy shots are with the camera lens up close, or the fish held way forward.
